thanks, but it just has some descriptions about timing and some other stuff, except the Register Description. I can only build the driver with the Register table which provides how to configure the camera setting, the control command...
I searched a lot on Google, but it's seem there's no document about Registers of OV264.

I wondered, why OmniVision provides Register table inside the datasheet for other Camera e.g. OV7610, but the OV2640 has nothing? Do they intend to keep it secret and try to sell it with some extra money beside the camera?

maybe you'll be able to find some useful informations in description of other model? in some way they should be compatible, I guess so. it's not "all about" but can be quite enough. I know your problem (I was looking for informations about MCBxxx by Sony)

This link has register set in it...
http://www.trulydisplays.com/[....]M%20Sensor%20OV2640%20Spec.pdf
But even with this, I'm still struggling to get an image out of the camera. There doesn't seem to be any register setting to enable the image, or to switch between slave and master mode, yet this functionality is implied elsewhere. Is there anyone out there who has got further with this camera?

I have the same problem. The register set does not help me to run OV2640. I2C interface works fine, I read and write the registers, but I can't get image from the CSI. I think it is in slave mode.
Please advice!!!
