> Mobile email - how to stop/delete spam

With windows mail, outlook and other PC based email software there are regularly updated SPAM filters. How do you cope when using a mobile phone to read emails???
I have a P1i and haven't really bothered with using it for email because of this problem - but have just become interested in using it...
Thanks

its probably better to get the spam blocked before it gets to your phone
my email service provider (Telstra in Australia) provide this service for $2.50/month and it works great.
otherwise, switch to one that provides free spam blocking such a gmail

Ah... thanks mate...
Perhaps I will set a specific email account to use with phone - maybe a gmail one will be the right one to use then
Was a bit wary of gmail due to googles data holding issues...

- but that's another story.

Seems to be 'GoogleMail' in the UK instead of 'GMail' - due to legal issues ???
Anyway sorted - thanks

- I'll just have to see now if I manage to avoid the SPAM once I start using it
what's the best interface to recieve the emails - the downloadable Java one doesn't seem to do HTML - do people use the web browser method for best results? - and the unsigned checking for permissions thing all the time is a tad irritating
Thanks...
