Hi,
I connected to my network, but when I go to 'favourites' and go to any site (such as youtube) from there, then I keep getting directed to the three website.
How do I browse freely?

There might be issues with your operator if you get redirected to it's web site... Maybe your phone is branded. Check that... Try using another sim card.

I've used opera mini and it works fine... Flash videos/games don't seem to work though, any help with this?

Flash content won't work on 95% of phones as they don't support that kind of content. It is usually the reserve of smartphones.
Even the all conquering iPhone doesn't support flash content, which is what all the fuss was about with the iPhone 3G adverts claiming "access to the full internet", and having to be edited and re-released without that phrase.
