I am new to the touchscreen devices and to SE UIQ phones (W950i), i have a few questions concerning the input options of the device.
I would like to know the settings, so i could use the "Abc" layout of the keypad, and at the same time to be able to display the on-screen keyboard from the shortcut at the top of the screen. I do not want to use T9 or any predictive typing options, so i want to switch it off permanently. And of course i would like to know how to switch between "Abc", ABC, abc and 123 - like on a "normal" phone.

You should go to Control Panel - Device - Text Input - Predictive text and uncheck the option 'Use predictive text'.
