Note: For Globe and Smart users in the Philippines only with Sony Ericsson phones.

To access My Friends for FREE, just follow the steps and procedures by clicking the following link: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=173976

For Smart users: You can only access My Friends by creating an account in MobJab. Yamigo does not work in Smart.

For Globe users: Both MobJab and Yamigo work.

Server Settings:

For Smart, you just need to put wap.smart.com.ph@ on the MobJab server so it will be wap.smart.com.ph@mobjab.mobi

For Globe, you just need to put 3g.myglobe.com.ph@ on the server. For Yamigo, it will be 3g.myglobe.com.ph@yamigo.com/wv/control and for MobJab, it will be 3g.myglobe.com.ph@mobjab.mobi

Smart is faster than Globe. Sometimes there is a delay on sending and receiving messages. I think it is a problem with the server and sometimes with the signal or network provider. Anyway, try it guys. Maximize the use of the features of your phone. Hehehe. Have a nice day!


UPDATE: (11/25/2008) Using Speago on My Friends

Guys, there is a new one that we can use. It's Speago. It's actually faster than MobJab and Yamigo. Just register an account in http://www.speago.com and then configure the server settings on your phone.

For Smart: http://wap.smart.com.ph@chat.speago.com
For Globe: http://3g.myglobe.com.ph@chat.speago.com

The only difference of Speago among the others is that is does not have the feature to fetch Yahoo! and MSN contacts yet but it is faster like you're using Yahoo! Messenger on your computer. Try it guys! :)


UPDATE: (11/27/2008) Using Speago on My Friends

My Friends is already now working for free in Globe. No need to use any @trick. You can use either myGlobe CONNECT or myGlobe INET.

Ok lng un. Anyway, tnry nyo b mgsend ng msg? Minsn kz eh hndi dumadating ang msg s mobjab, minsn delayed. Dpende rin kz s signal at connection. Ganon din s globe ung mobjab. Pero ung yamigo sa globe eh mbilis.
