is there any mp3 cutter program in the UIQ fone??

also i noe iphone have a program dat all u need to is sing the song or hum da song out n it can find the song n download it rite away... does UIQ fones have functions like dat?? i noe SE fones got the trackID but it doesnt download songs...

1. Why don't you use your PC/Mac for this purpose? If you're running Windows, mp3DirectCut (free) is all you need.

2. If you're referring to Midomi, there's a client for S60 phones. Unfortunately, UIQ doesn't have this app. IMHO, it's just a gimmick. I tried using it on my N95 and it couldn't throw up an accurate match.
If you can get the track ID, downloading is a piece of cake. Head over to one of the countless online music portals (iTunes, Beatport, Juno, Amazon etc.) or fire up your preferred P2P/warez web site.

well i wanna do everythin on da fone cuz is more convenient... i dont have to search using track ID, then go to PC dl da song, then use mp3cutter then load da song n ringtone bak to fone... is a good way but not dat convenient...

Well, wasn't the music that you put on your phone copied from your PC/Mac in the first place? A phone can't do everything. The current batch of N-series phones would suit you well, with Midomi (for track ID) and SymTorrent (to download). However, you'd miss out on the touch screen feature of the W960.

Anyhow, for cutting MP3s on-board, try this Java based application (sourced from this thread).
