I was just browsing through the C702 pics. This pic as was shot:

C702

says the the following tag on the circumference.

f=4.2mm 1:3.2

K800

but the K800s have the following tag.

f=5.2mm 1:2.8

I want to know what is the difference in these two tags. Is it that the focal length of the K800>C702. What is about the ratio?

The ratio is the focal width, the size of the aperture.

C702 has a smaller (vs k800) aperture. Therefore, lesser light goes in/absorbed by the cam sensor

The k800i has the better, larger lens which allows in more light and will result in better pictures in lower light settings then the c702.

So it's better to have more/less light going into the lens?

The c702 has the smaller focal length allowing more light to reach the sensor.

You've got that backwards, the K800 has the lower focal length allowing more light to reach the sensor, and yes, that is better.

Dont get it yet.

What is the f=x.x mm ?
Is it better to have more x.x mm or less?

What is the ratio? Aperture?
What is it? Is smaller values (1: x.x) better? @number1
