> W850i bluetooth problem
Bookmark topic
Hello there,
I have changed the cover on my daughters Sony Ericsson W850i and it powers up and works fine all except the bluetooth option so im guessing ive put something back wrong. When enabling bluetooth it just goes to enable and then just goes back to the screen without switching it on.
Could someone tell me where the bluetooth is incase I haven't connected it back up properly.
Thankyou in advance for any help

Any DCU-60 will be just fine, beware of fakes on eBay, thought they might work you never know.

IT can all be done for free. The forum has a lot of guides on how to do it manually. But I would try it via Sony Ericssons Update Service (SEUS) first.
Download SEUS here:
http://www.sonyericsson.com/c[....]ate_Service_Setup-2.8.5.12.exe
Make sure the battery is at least 80% charged.
Make sure you have copied everything you want to keep from the phone.
You can make backups of contacts and text messages with this program:
http://www.fjsoft.at/download.php?id=1
You also need to be connected to the internet for SEUS to work.
Install it, start it, follow instructions and connect the phone, and wait for all drivers to be installed properly, then depending on whether or not you got the latest firmware SEUS will ask you if you want to reinstall/continue anyways, say yes. Or if there is newer software install that.
You now have reflashed the phone.
