Just been given a k750i. Have got a new sim card which we have activated. Trying to send a text/sms but on the send message menu we are only given the option of MMS or email, the send SMS is missing! Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

This has never happened to me on my K750i, which I had a long time ago, but I would say that this could be due to an incorrect or missing SMS configuration (service center number) on your SIM card or beause your phone is unable to read it from your SIM card for whatever reason.
You can try to go to the SMS settings and enter the service center number of your operator manually (messaging - settings - text message - service center).
If that doesn't work you could try and check it with another sim card.
