I was hoping to use my T68i with T-mobile service to connect my laptop to for Internet service when I travel. I'm new to all of this but heard GPRS would allow me to connect my laptop to the internet through my cell phone.
I contacted T-mobile and they setup Tzones on my phone, and now the GPRS indicator is at full strength.
How do I setup my laptop to connect through Infrared (or Bluetooth) and connect over GPRS on my phone?
I tried dialing with the T68i Infrared modem that my Win Xp computer detects but it just disconnects. I also tried with the tmobile internet manager software, and it gets to "initializing device" and then stops saying "Device not responding" even though it knows the phone is there and it recognizes it.
Am I missing some setting on my phone or my computer? Also, compared to 56k how much faster would GPRS service be?
Thanks for any help, tmobile wasn't able to provide me with help regarding this.

Well that sucks that T-Mobile won't help you with this!
What T-Zones do you have? Because there is one T-Zones for your phone and one more expensive if you plan to use your laptop for browsing through your phone.

It is the cheap one for like $2.99/month and includes 10MB or something like that.
