And also does anyone know where in New Zealand i would be able to get the upgrade done?? Thanx alot in advance

Well... I don't think anyone here has made a comparison between these two versions! You see, us Esato freaks grab the new SW as soon as it comes out!

But in my opinion you should definately get the R6 SW. You will gain better Bluetooth, faster phone, modified version of the MMS client and more stable os.

I'm on the other side of the globe, so I don't konw exactly where in NZ you can get the upgrade.

Definitely go for upgrade ! As for your nearest service centre, simply go to SE New Zealand website, click on support, choose service centre, there's list of service centre there !

I got the upgrade yesterday but it was for software version R6A012.
Does this software support the MCA - 25 camera features?? plus does it have any improvements cos i tried to look for some but i havent found any. Anybody out there with software version R6A012??

I suppose the phone turns on and off a bit quicker and also when i was using WAP it would sometimes disconnect if i was on for more than 20 mins but this hasn't happened since i got the upgrade to R6A012
