Hello again to all Esato and SE fanatics. I have an acer laptop. And i'm in our field office now. Since there was no wifi or any internet connection here, i'm trying to find a way to use my w660i. But for almost overnight trying to establish a connection, i failed. is there any ways to do the connection or is it possible to do it? Thanks in advance.

How to get you online using your phone as a modem
(Tested on G502 - K530i - K610i - K800i - K810i - W610i - W660i - W880i - W910i)
First step, enable/activate your gprs data connection (you may have to contact your service provider to get it work)
To test if your gprs is active , go click your PlayNow in the menu (keypad '1'). If it succeed to open the PlayNow page then you are just a few steps away.
Second step, go to Settings>Connectivity>USB>USB Internet> and choose turn on
Don't forget to choose the right account at USB data account.
Third step, download W660i signed driver and extract it anywhere as long as you'll find it quick and easy.
Now, when you connect your phone to the pc (use dcu-60 or dcu-65 only), your pc will pop the hardware wizard or something like that. Just point everything it asked to the extracted signed driver files folder.
Once finish, everytime you connect your phone to your pc/laptop you should see theglobe icon on your phone status bar. It means you are automaticly connected to the web.
I.m.o. You should turn off every automatic updates in your computer to avoid downloading unnecessary big files
Regards

There is a way by configuring the network proxy settings of Opera 9.5. I was able to do that before in IE but I haven't tested it again.
