so, i came across a thread on another forum about flashing A2 phones for free.

i tried doing this with the KKClient and i get this output:

after having done this, KK can read my phone but the a2uploader is still giving me shit about having a damaged firmware, gdfs or an empty phone.

what's a brother to do?

Please edit the title of your thread as it's quite misleading. Most people would think that you're offering some instructions for free flashing whereas in reality, you're asking some questions.

Anyhow, someone shall drop by pretty soon and answer your question.

so after a few times of failing (47% 52% 63%) i finally was able to reach 100%. peep these logs

even though i hadn't selected 'finalize' as i don't have any KK credits, it for some reason tried to do it.

from what i understand, it is possible to only flash the main, then 'finalize' by uploading a FS using the a2uploader. is this right?!
so far, no progress on my phone has been mad. when i try and 'identify' the phone on a2uploader, i stil get the same message as before.

help....?

no mate i only have c902 and even if i did i wouldnt upload it cos its not free yet and the maker of the program deserves somthing 4 his effort that is partly y i chose 2 pay 2 use the program in the first place dont b tight and pay its only 8 euros

that's more self-righteousness and less information than i needed.

regardless, i've the KK FS and MAIN downloaded and have yet to figure out a way to make them work. seems all the flashing goes to waste if not finalized by the KKClient.
my echeck to davinci cleared today though, so hopefully i can use that to flash my fw.

You need credits to finalize the phone.
Flashing main takes 1 credit.
