Hi there, I keep getting this sound not supported for some (but not all) MP3s I transfer to the phone

I use an application called dbPoweramp to convert them to a lower bitrate sometimes to fit more songs on (4GB card)

What the heck is going on, why do some play and some don't?

I had this problem a couple of weeks ago. What encoder are you using? LAME? It seems that dbPowerAmp adds some ID tags that can't be read on

UIQ devices.
Use iTunes, MM Jukebox, Audacity (all freeware) and the likes.
