The phone comes with Netfront 3.4....It seems a good browser with a cursor and zooming and other nice features. The Netfront web site also references some useful widgets, tabs and several other useful features. Unfortunately these are not present in version on the SE phone. Anyone know how I can get these features?

In addition, anyone know how this compares to Opera mini?

A1/A2 phones.

That is a great site! My phone is a 760a. It is not a smart phone but it is pretty robust. I am new to the SE platform and am trying to learn as much as I can.

I have been all over the web to read about Opera vs Netfront but they all seem to be operating from a smartphone point of view.

I am particularly interested in getting the document viewer and widgets on the phone. I understand from reading other sites that SE did not include them due to licensing costs. That suggests to me that they could run onthe 760a and I just need to get them. I was hoping to find someone who is experienced with the SE platform for my phone and well as Netfront to help pursue this quest.

v3.5 is the latest and is available for WinMo/PPC devices from the download link in my previous post.

I guess v3.4 is the latest for

feature phones.

there is no java version of netfront. It's built into the firmware.
