Hi I own a w950i .
I bought my cell months ago but i think its a black piece . I would like to Know if it is possible to know iF my cell is unbranded

If your phone doesnt have ringtone, picture, icons, etc from a specific operator then it's unbranded

Startup and shutdown animations are also a dead give away. My P1i _had_ O2 ones until I flashed it to GW1

Does the unbranded device shows the correct IMEI number when we press *06*#?

You have to press *#06# for the IMEI-number, both branded and unbranded phones should show the correct number. When one doesn't, the phone has been tampered with.
