Hello everyone...
I've been searching the net for a while, trying to find a solution. I came across this site and i'm hoping someone will be able to help.
I have a SE C905. I want to load a few HQ music videos onto it, but i'm having trouble converting to 3gp with sound. The phone supports 30fps with a resolution of 240x320. I've been able to convert the video in HQ using 'SUPER' with the following settings: MPEG-4, 320:240 (4:3), 240 kbps, 30 fps.
Now, that works fine for the video ONLY. When I try to convert the audio with it, the entire file doesn't work on the phone (playback failed). I tried every audio setting possible, to no avail.
If anyone has been able to convert to 3gp at 30fps with sound, and have it work on their mobile, could you please help me out?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Okay I just used Super to convert
Size.........: 701 MiB
Video Codec..: XviD
Frame Size...: 640x360
Bit rate.....: 659 Kbps
FPS..........: 23.976
Audio........: MP3, 128 Kbps, 1 channel, CBR
PlayTime.....: 2h 3mn
into
Size.........: 400 MiB
Video Codec..: 3gp (mpeg4)
Frame Size...: 320x240
Bit rate.....: 80 Kbps
FPS..........: 30
Audio........: AAC LC, 96 Kbps, 2 channel, 44kHz
PlayTime.....: 2h 3mn
I made a mistake because the original audio was mono and I encoded into stereo.. I could have halved the audio bitrate. Also I set the video bitrate way too high.. I'm sure about 300kbps would be plenty.
Also made the FPS 30 instead of the original 23.9
It takes a few attempts experimenting to get the best results.
Anyway I've just copied the 3gp onto my phone. lets see if it works???
Nope.. Playback Failed!
hmm, I will get back to you if I find the answer
I have xilisoft converter installed too, so I may use this instead

Okay..
This time I have opened the source file and found out as many properties as I can about the original source.
You need to know aspect ratio, FPS and bitrate
and for audio you want to find out
the sampling frequency, amount of channels and bitrate
factor these into the settings for you recode...
I have super recoding now, I will edit this post when it is done with the results.

You have to encode it using the xvid video encryption. Works for me.

Hmm...I don't quite follow. Which program are you using? How do you use the xvid encryption? Thanks.

M3 has always worked best for me, having used Super and other programs also. Excellent results. Follow the thread below to download and choose settings.
