> P800 Achilles Heel - No Fax
Bookmark topic
Guys, this is really bugging me. Other than nothing's perfect, any ideas/explanations/analysis of why SE did not equip the P800 with a fax capability.

The point is the P800 trounces Nokia's Communicator on just about every point except this. Why did they have to make such a glaring omission. And efax isn't the same. With built-in fax capability the faxes are delivered to/from the phone immediately, that's the point.

Let's hope for third party fax software then

According to the P800 manual:
"Your P800 does not support fax transmission. Even if your operator subscription supports fax transmission, fax calls will be rejected."
And then it says something like tell the people u know not to waste their time (and money) sending u faxes on the P800.
