Hi everyone,
I bought an unlocked new G700 in Germany and I live in Ireland on Vodafone. Its a great phone and sms works fine but I cant set up the mms and email settings. SE sent me the settings but it would not work and
the ones I got from Vodafone are for SE mobiles in general and not the G700 in particular.
Vodafone is not very helpful because they dont have my model, SE refered me to Vodafone
Kindly respond.
Any help is much appreciated!

Vodafone settings can be a bit weird.
Get someone to send you an MMS and try and send an MMS yourself.
Power on and off the phone in between.
Change your phone type on the Vodafone website to be a K800i.
That should kick it off.

I have a G900, Id say we are the only two in Ireland with these phones
I got mine working on O2 no probs.

Quick question. Can you send emails via your phone in email accounts ? I can only receive them. What does ist say in setting in your outbox: send using group: ???
The other thing, I always get all emails from gmail, not only the new ones. Do you know how I can change that?

Yes you should be able to.
How did you setup your email access? I setup mine using the SE support site.
If that fails you could just get the Gmail java application from the web

What does it say in yours, also Gmail outgoing?

Think it could be something with VF Ireland, im helping a mate at work try and get gmail working on his vodafone K850i, but no joy.
I cant remember the settings on my G900, but they were just the ones SE sent me
