> o2 bolt on (free internet) with Iphone
Bookmark topic
I decided on the Iphone 16gig payasyougo on o2, I have to say I am really please with it after two weeks. Especially with the free 3G internet included.
I understand the free internet is a bolt-on to the SIM, is there a way I can take the SIM out plug it into a device and then plug it into my laptop to get the internet on the laptop over the 3G network?
Thanks in advance for your help.

No you can't. O2 have the USB modem for that, which we do on pay as you go now too.
O2 intentionally provent you from doing what you've asked or else every Tom Dick and Harry would be doing it, thus creating an HUGE strain on the network from massive data usage.

Google loves you
Do that then.....
Surely O2 can't stop that J? it all uses the APN? I understand you can work out what's using what but surely you are allowed to use the iPhone to it's full potential?

There is nothing in any of the ads about topping up £10 a month. And I got a text saying my year free Internet is activated. It also says it's unlimited but the have a fair use policy what ever that is.

@fatreg cheers I'll give that a go over the weekend. I've messed up every other phone I've had so why should I treat this iphone any different!
