hey guys! good news to all globe prepaid our mms are now fully activated meaning we can join the caravan of all those subscriber who also enjoy the MMS we can send received pictures and logos as well via MMS...

Guys, u have to call globe first to have your mms activated. Download the settings OTA then after you call you have to wait for about a week before you receive a msg that says WELCOME TO GLOBE MMS :-) and yes it is also available for PREPAID -mga more than 2 months na :-) p.s.: i'm using prepaid kaya that means ok na sya.

@*, globe charges 5pesos per MMS. also check the BIGJOBS wapsite for downloadable mms templates thru wap,they got around 20 templates there :-)

A story that confirms the lack of gray matter among Globe CSRs:
Just called this morning to follow-up on my MMS activation (for the nth time), the guy asked me if I was on prepaid, of course I said yes. He told me that i may be able to receive MMS when it is activated ("monitor your unit for 24 to 48 hours", who hasn't heard this line) but it was IMPOSSIBLE for any prepaid account to 'send' MMS.
So i told him, "so that means all the people who have prepaid Globe accounts that can send MMS have done the IMPOSSIBLE."
He was the one who hung up on me.

Same thing here! It took me almost 3 painstaking weeks before I got my GPRS activated! Have to follow up every now & then and thats quit annoying! For a huge company to claim service as their priority! - It is indeed highly questionable! They are just destroying their credibility to the public.
