My phone was perfectly fine last night, then when I woke up this morning, my phone was displaying a message on the main screen saying 'invalid mobile' and I cant make or receive calls or SMS. I've tried taking the battery out and leaving it, but no such luck and 02 isn't down in my area. Anybody who could help? Thanks

The invalid mobile thing is definitely to do with my phone, its not the sim card as its prepay, and the only way it would be the sim card would be if it was contract and I hadnt paid the bill and I'd been cut off.
The phone was given to me by a member of my family, but I know it wasn't stolen, but I dont think it was bought from a shop, I think it could've been bought from a friend. I cant get hold of the person to ask where it was from.
Do you think i should ring up 02 or will I be digging myself a deeper hole by doing so? HELP!

If your not 100% sure that the phone not was stolen I wouldn't take a chance...

Ericsson handsets display invalid mobile if they have been blacklisted - either on purpose or accidently
