Hey guys I just replaced the full casing on my phone and now I have the Insert SIM problem. I checked the connection on the SIM slot flex cable and it looks fine. I'll try to get another SIM card tomorrow but is there anything that might also affect this? I don't want to wait for another item from CNN.cn, they're so slow haha.

Hmm... does an M2 card work??
To check if it works, once your phone is started, it will say Insert sim card, or to view a demo of this phone first, press demo. Don't press demo, insted type >* being left and right on the dpad and * being the * key)
once done that go on service tests then memory stick. Insert your memory card and it sould come up with insterted

It's not the memory stick... The SIM card he says... And it may be hardware and software related problem aswell. Have you flashed the phone or updated the firmware recently? It may be unlocked with non-permanent unlock method which puts the locks back once the phone is flashed or updated... You can try reflashing it, or if the phone started doing that by itself, the problem is probably hardware related. Then try using another SIM card or send your phone to the service center. They should be able to fix it for free if it is still under warranty.
