> Interesting C905 Problem

I have come into the possesion of a new C905, its a great phone but today I ran into a problem. It has been crashing for no reason and like my old K950i i decided to update firmware only to find there was no update via sony ericson update software.
Following that i used davinci as i know there is a more upto date firmware available. Now to my amazement it appears my phone is somewhat unique as no matter what I do i cant get a new fimware.
My question and beef being have I got a dodgy phone? Iv attatched a link to what davinci said to me just as a reference hope some one can shed some light on the matter.

It's a prototype thats why, the erom colour is brown which means it's a proto
