Hi Folks,

I got connected using a Tungsten-T and my T68i at last. Can read Esato from my Tungsten but I can't work out how to begin a new topic from the Tungsten.

When I use my T68i only, I can see the Easto logo and other logos in the T68i pages but..... How do I see these on the Tungsten?

Any advice please?

Ofiaich

Hi Ofiaich,

Sorry - I don't have your answer. But I am wondering what you think of the Tungsten as I'm thinking of getting one.

How do you find it ?

Thanks,

Mark

P.S. I did read that an MP3 player doesn't exist for the Tungsten currently - is this true ?

Retrospek, I drank lots of beer but here goes!!

There is supposed to be an mp3 player imminent... but we all know about release dates, don't we!!!! Hahahaha!! p800!

There are players that work on the T-T. Aeroplayer is one but there are comments about the sound quality.

I like my Tungsten and I will admit to a few problems. I am on a payandgo tariff and it seems my sim card will not allow all of the functions of the T-T to work. I mean full web browsing. It seems a contract is needed or an add-on web package or maybe Orange pay as you use will allow full data.

I haven't cracked sms software yet, and Web pro but I got the e-mail and wap working well with help from some of the support groups and from Palm .

Synchronization has worked well except for one time. I rebooted the pc and all went well after.

I find the T-T to be so easy to carry... bluetooth conenction was a bit fiddly but I got that cracked with the help of a video on the Palm site I will find the url if needed ..

and....

I like my T-T very much!!

Ask anything, and I will do my best to respond.

Now for another beer! not really!

ofiaich.

no, I never used but I researched so much... because I have a strange need... maybe not so strange but rare.,

I need to send e-mails in Japanese or using the Roman alphabet to Japanese mobiles and PC's. The T68i, Panasonic GD87 and Orange SPV can't so I use wap which is CR*P. I wanted to use pop or imap.

I found pocket pc's don't allow a font change and thus allow Japanese.. but I am sure a Palm will.

I found two useful support groups. I am sure there are more!

@ lazarini

can you create a new document or spreadsheet with PocketPC, I have been told that you can only view and edit, but not create an entirely new onw with Pocket PC. I haven't gotten a PDA yet, still working with REX 6000, but considering a real handheld rather than a PIM.
