You should use FAR manager for e.g. to open up your phone filesystem in order to get that file for editing... You need a FS modding (opening) tutorial.

Im confused will i change the 16 (bass) to 20 or 22 to make the megabass effect. (Manual equalizer only have 16 bar in bass) Have you tried editing that settings.xml ?

Not really, but I'm sure this will work if you do it correctly... Just make backup of the original file in the phone, and then try modding it.

The values for the manual equalizer in settings.xml logically will be overwritten every time you change these settings (with the phone, not the mod). So I guess if you want to keep using your equalizer AND the mod to be permanent, it's one of the preset equalizer settings you'll have to get changed, not the manual equalizer.
