lol we are talking about what? Dumb phones or smartphones? lol. Samsung and SE have smartphones with Symbian OS. Uiq on SE and S60 on some Samsungs... Now ... about the 1st question i dont know :s Better way is do this kind of things in the PC and then transfer to the phone, because maybe the applications you wanted are not freeware.... but if you wanted go to www.my-symbian.com and take a look on the applications... i think that all that existes are there

For zipping and unzipping files you can use a file manager called X-Plore or Y Browser. For mp3 cutting, converting etc. . .use AudioCube, both should be at the site posted above, or otherwise visit http://www.series60v3.com theres tons of software.

I am having a lot of problems with s60. 1- there is no copy paste in text editor like if i want to post a picture in esato thread i need to copy paste the address. I cant do that. It was very easy with an se phone to c/p from one application to another. What is smart in this smart phone? I dnt understand.

Its called READING THE DAM MANUAL! If you ACTUALY took time to READ the manual you'd know that to copy/paste you use hash ( # ). Simply hold hash and use the dpad to highlight the text you want to copy then click copy after that take it to any app then hold hash again and click Paste, simple.
