I do it in many phones, and it results
1.Connect Charger tho phone
2.Go to Preferences > Master Restore > All Restore
3.Wait 13 seconds while mobile is restoring and remove battery quickly.
4. Wait about 30 seconds and put battery again, then turn on phone.
5. Mobile will spend a few seconds in reboot, but now you can remove all predefined items.
Thats all, easy. If you do it well, you must have near 600kb of memory free, and you will be able to delete al predefined items. You will lost all wap profiles, but you can restore them from "sonyericsson.com configurators".
If do not sucess well, try it again, the most important are the 13 seconds of step 3.
Good luck,
Bye.

Yes, it works with the t300... but after done it, i realized that i had 617Ko free, but without preinstalled games, pics, MMS templates and all the preinstalled stuffs. But when i do a "normal" Master Reset i have 602Ko free (before preinstalled pics and MMS templates are loaded), but with 3 games (Minigolf, Alien Scum and Black Deal), a lot of ringtones and the preinstalled themes... so, with the 617Ko of the "short" Master Reset, if you add the games (135Ko) + some ringtones + personnal pics and screensaver, you will have less memory than with the normal "Master Reset" without the preinstalled stuffs loaded.... So, i think, the best way to have a lot a free memory is to beware not to load the preinstalled pics...
PS : i have R1D s/w

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS! I just tried it, if you pull it out even half a second too early everything will be gone and I only had 499kb free. The phone was very slow and at times unresponsive. I did a full master reset to get my original settings back, only because I thought I fried my phone. To me it isnt worth it....

No affair!!
When I bought my T300, 2 days later his memory was full. There was bored pics, melodies, themes, templates... that I didn't want. I erased all games, all, and my memory remains full, and my hands locked.
Now I have the pics, screensavers, melodies, templates, games... that I really want!! And phone's memory goes ok. I remove a game, and memory free is up, before no.
That's the difference:
-Now my T300 goes faster(influece of an optimized theme).
-Now my T300 has only the things that I want.
-Now my T300 has free memory.
-Now I love much more my T300 with red leds.
Risk? None!!
If procedure don't result ok, do it again, up to free memory will be 600Kb. You only can lost your images, themes, games, melodies. Backup them and any problem.
The world is for intrepids and nonconformists!!
