> P1i on screen keyboard sound missing

Was: ONE P1i QUESTION
Merry Christmas to everyone.I just got one of these phones.Now when i go to use the on screen key board,when i tap on the space bar there is no sound.Likewise,when i tap on the buttons to the right and left of the space bar.Is this suppose to happen or is there a fault with the phone?

To be honest I never use any sounds for touching screen.

when you set your phone to silent, you wont hear any sound coming from the phone. check that out.

In Main menu --> Control Panel -->Device -->Sounds & alerts there is an option 'Buttons & screen'
You have 3 option to change:
1) Screen tap
2) Selection Key
3) Keyboard
Have you checked these?
Selection key is for the 'soft keys' on the screen - maybe this is what you are looking for?
If you enable keyboard sound the keys that have no funtion in a particular mode will not activate anything or make a sound... does that help?
