Hey fellas!
I have a P990i, and few days ago I installed the Quickoffice 4.0 upgrade. But a problem occured: whenever I try to do anything with the application, it simply crashes (the KERN-EXEC error).
I think this may happen because of the P990's RAM (too low for the 4.0 upgrade, perhaps?).
So, I found Quickoffice 3.6 (the one that ships with the P990i), but when I try to install, this error pops up:
"The following software must be present on this device before the installation can proceed:
Software name:
SonyEricsson10274bf5PlatformProductID"
Any info on this software, or where can I find it would be very useful.

This Quickoffice 4.0 brings problems to P990. I already experienced that on my former P990. Try to uninstall and install again. And if you'll be successful, never use fullscreen!

I mean, when I go to Control Panel - Uninstall, Quickoffice is not in the listed applications.
Owerwriting is the only solution I see at the moment (well, maybe SEUS is an option, but that way I'm going to lose so many moddings and applications).
But as I said, when I install the 3.6 version, it asks for the software I named in my previous post.

If I don't find this thing required by the 3.6 version, I'm gonna have to use SEUS, than apply all the mods over again...which sucks.

It's not RAM. Quickoffice is not taking so much RAM.
It's just not optimized for P990.
My app was working and than suddenly uninstalled itself somehow...
