I am just about to upgrade (downgrade?) from an iPhone 2G which I have had for about 7 months to a T-Mobile G1.
Is this going to be an easy transition? The iPhone has served me fairly well however even after 7 months the text input annoys me. It's too easy to press return instead of space so you end up
with
messages
like
this.
I will miss the iPod part of the iPhone but hopefully there will be an equally good program for the G1 brought out. It will be nice not having to use iTunes to be honest!
One of the things I'm worried about it the general smoothness of the iphone. I just love the transitions and responsiveness. The thing with this is, if it's good you don't notice. It's only when you try a Viewty or Windows Mobile device you realise just how pleasant the iphone is to use.
Hopefully the G1 will be just as nice to use with it's fairly high spec hardware.
Anyone else gone from iphone to G1?
