I just cannot find it. How to multi-select some picture either in phone, camera or storage card?

I can only 'beam' ie. 1 picture, file. In my P990 whenever I select 'mark' then in front of all files/pics come a box up in front to select some of it.

With my X1 I cannot get to that. Its hopefully there....

If you multi-select files, the options to do anything with them (Bean, Send) are greyed out.

I've mentioned it a few times but I'm happy to say it again

On WM, you can multi select just as you do in Windows

either in file manager or the pictures and videos program, select the first picture you want, then popup the keyboard, press the control key, then select any other images you want and this can be contiguous or non contiguous

also, similar to windows, if you want to select a contiguous range simply select the first image, press shift on the keyboard and select the last image in the range

Thanks, that's good to know. I use the transcriber and Resco Keyboard, never bothered to mess with the standard WM keyboard.

I have both those too. resco is my preferred file manager and simplifies the multi select by having an option in the edit menu for "Multi-selection mode"

Thanks to mention this 'again'. Much appreciated!
However, the thing with the 'shift' key works.... but really, WHAT is that Control key?

We should have the same keyboard on our X1. I have the win-key, tab-key shift-key, Sym-key (whatever that is), a 'blue-dot'-key (comes as FN key up) and on the right side the Del-key, enter-key and ok-key.

Where and what is that ctrl key?

Thanks

sorry, when I said popup keyboard, I meant the virtual keyboard. its the bottom left key highlighted in the pic below

unfortunately the physical keyboard doesn't have a control key

It would be great if we could remap the keys on the slide out keyboard. I would turn the 'au' key into a control key. Makes me wonder if the X1a will have an 'au' key or not?
