omg, this is a sad news for this new year. so this means now that we will be seeing winmo and android devices instead of uiq
can some company give financial support in order to see this alive again?

The problem is that for someone to invest some money, they will want a return - and what return could UIQ offer?
As Android matures, more manufacturers will move towards that - others will go down the WinMo route as it is probably easier to code for.
Unless UIQ is able to offer a big benefit to the manufactuers in them shifting more handsets, no one will put the cash in.

probably knew well ahead about the situation and isn't even to much bothered by this. Its sad but time to move on to winmo even though it is not liked by

many fans and former fans.
The fall of UIQ is not coincidental to having the experia have WinMo. At least I don't believe so.

k850i is A2. Not UIQ, UIQ is symbian.
Btw, i guess these 200 or so(or part of them), might get work under Sony ericsson for the symbian foundation department???
Its a sad news for UIQ, but if their resources and the guys are still being used in SE for SFOS, it would sill be good.
