thinking of buying a cheap aftermarket one off ebay
does anyone know if this is difficult and any particular tools i might need

Becareful when purchasing from ebay. I was looking for a cheap knock off as well and when it arrived i regret purchasing it. Broken tabs, buttons won't fit in the slots and the casing felt paper thin.
Right now the casing I have is holding up but I plan on purchasing an OEM set from cnn.cn
