> How unlucky! C905 rising price
Bookmark topic
This has to be the most unlucky day for me getting a mobi ever.
I was going to get a c905 last week but kept putting it off, the price was £300, i put aside tommorow to definatley get it and just checked there latest prices and was shocked to see the c905 is now £372!!!!! £300 was pushing it a bit, at the end of a day it is a fone but £372, no way!!!!
No c905 for me
Anyone else had the same experience ?? With mobile phones

It's really weird that they should up the price like that. Maybe because the Christmas promotions are over?

All there prices have risen on all mobiles
c902-£275 LG Renoir-£401- thats more than the sim free price
I would imagine the reason for this sharp rise is the economic crises, since 3 isnt particulalry popular, they would of had to rise there prices in a bid not to fall into liquidation. Also they have just released "britans Lowest tarrif"- £9 a month with 100 minutes/texts and a free k660i. They are probably hoping many will see the high payg prices and choose the £9 tarrif, they are probably taking a risk and hoping many will go over the inclusive minutes and texts (as 100mins/texts is not a lot), this would increase there revenue. But this is a big risk, so i wouldnt be surprised to see 3 in the news as another store falling in to liquidation, which would bring down prices of payg tremendously. So if i put of buying a phone and 3 does fall into liquidation i would only have to pay little for the phone, but who knows if that will happen.

ouch! i guess you've learnt your lesson about procrastination
Although it happens the other way too. Here in NZ i had a mate who wanted an LG viewty, original price $999 nz. He had the money but was waiting for a price drop..the phone had been out for quite awhile and the official price hadn't budged at all. So when a store was having a storewide discount he decided that was as good as it was going to get and ended up buying one for $800 nz. He was feeling pretty smug about his fancy new phone and 2 weeks later vodafone decided to drop the prices of the viewty to $550( actually i think even $450 when that same store had it on another special)...now it's not nearly as special and my friend had to pay basically two times more than he needed to

But with payg with O2/Carphonewarehouse the C902 is just £200, sim free is always way more expensive

its more than likely already sim-free anyway as they just just give you the phone and sim separatly i think

The PAY & GO price at CPW
Orange... (The handset will most likely be SIMFREE) is £352.49
Where did the £200 come from???
Cheers

Look at the cpw website
it'll be unlocked and unbranded from there but best to check in store.
If it's from orange then it'll be orange branded.
