> Stay with Cable or go to Sky
Bookmark topic
Right, I am currently with Cable getting BB,TV and Phone, and was thinking of getting the V+ box. Up to now cable have been ok, but I am having some issues with the Tv picture +sound glitching at the moment.
Do I stay with Cable and get the V+ box, or should I move to Sky and get there Sky+ box.
I have never been with Sky, but I have heard people rave over them.

The only bad thing I have heard about Sky, is their picture goes snowy in bad weather. How true is this.

We have sky+ and I love it, never lived in a cable area so dont have anything to compare with.
We do get the screen freeze problem in heavy rain though.

Thanks for your replies guys.
I am after someone who has been with one and gone to the other also, so I can get a comparison from them.

I have had Sky, Cable and now with BT Vision.
For service, i dont thik Sky can be beaten, however i think they are the biggest rip off.
Cable is good value for money but i think it depends on service and provider.
BT Vision is great but it works in an ass around face way and although its good, sometimes feels a bit retarded.
Having said that for £13 a month, i get everything included except Movies, but even that is cheap.

Fibre Optical cables will provide you with the best quality tv.

And FYI, the 'free' broadband they give you is abismal, 2mbps if you're lucky, and a low download limit.
Better off paying someone to do it properly in my eyes. Jack of all trades master of none.

the broadband with sky is rubbish and if you want to go online at a weekend! you'll be lucky to even get a page up its that slow!
have always been with virgin media for broadband and as far as im concerned there's no other provider to beat them yet. ...but saying that there's nobody to beat sky when it comes to tv
