heya i was uploading some wallpapers/pictures to my k850i via bluetooth. Everything seemed fine with the standard file manager but when i went to view the pictures in media viewer some were missing. It was only when i when i looked at the camera album that i saw the pictures. As you can imagine its kinda annoying.
so big question is...the pictures i uploaded are all in the same folder on the phone so why did some get put in the camera album section and "picture" section of media viewer??
Note: the ones that got seperated to the camera album their names consisted of only numbers....i'm gonna try and see if that helps- and nope that didnt work

Are the formats or size any different between the pictures that got separated?

they're all .jpeg or .jpg..........size wise the ones that got put into the camera album are smaller.

i believe that this happened because some pictures are with these name sequence: DSCxxxxx. these pics go to the camera photo folder. the others go to the general pics folder.

It requires the picture file to have EXIF data such as Date Photo Taken, etc.. so that it is displayed in the Media Album.

@tranced- yea that was a thought the "dsc" naming part, but that clearly wasn't the case as the pics i uploaded weren't named like that. as well as that i'm using the memory card from my n82 and the photos i took with that were identified as photos as well
@stevenC- yea i figured as much after awhile or sumthing along the lines of that. I'm using a mac and i used the default picture viewer to crop some images. Incidentally it's those ones that were identified as "photos". So when i cropped it some data would've been added to it i'm guessing. Now i just have to find an app that doesn't do that. But otherwise i think problem solved as to why it was doing that
