Is there a application for the Sony Ericsson V640i or W910i that gives you information on MP3s including the KBPS so i can find out if its 64KBPS or 32KBPS or something else?

So far i got KD Player which gives that info on some songs saying if its 32KBPS but then sometimes it gives false readings saying one song is 456KBPS now i know its not its total time is 3:12 track at total size being 936KB so it being a 456KBPS is not true so is there a application that gives true mp3 info mainly the KBPS is what i want.

I dont think so. Kdplayer doesnt give false information to me. Try the latest version.
And kbps means kilobits per second, NOT kilobytes per second for bitrates.

Also i apologize for the error i made with the KBPS but honestly can you see a song that is 456KBPS being only 936KB's & be 3mins 12secs long? Not normally thats normally about 32KBPS or 40KBPS so KD did give a false reading on that one plus some songs didn't even have readings of the KBPS.
I'll be getting the KD Player when i get my W910 (On Monday fingers crossed) so will test it again on there see if it give more clear readings it maybe my V640 thats the issue here.
I'll keep you informed but still wish to know is my KD Player the same Version as yours?

False bits reading usually happens when playing a mp3 that encoded in VBR (variable bit rate.)
Kdplayer can only read CBR (constant bit rate) mp3 correctly. That's because the bit rate in VBR-encoded mp3 are always changing.
