> Battery charging T68 - optimised?

If I charge my T68 with it turned on I get 'optimised charging' appears on the display. Does this mean it charges more fully this way than if I charge it with the phone switched off?

that's normal dude when charging original battery....best way still is to switched off your phone when charging.
*when your using non-orig batt.....alien battery or "no" optimized charging appears.

I've read it's better to charge the phone when it's on, as it has more of a control on the charging.
But I don't see why it would make a difference having the phone on or off. Surely the phone will charge the battery in the same way...

So the charging is optimised to allow the main features of the phone to operate whilst the phone charges. In either the T300 or the T68, you can tell when the phone is fully charged when the clock appears. Need to have it on

Am I missing something?
Ever since I got my T68i, whenever I plug in the charger, all it says is "charging only". No optomized battery or alien battery message. I'm pretty sure I have a authentic SE charger as it says so on the back, and I'm pretty sure my battery is authentic as it has that hologram. So, is there anything wrong? DOes this make a difference? I don't want to be damaging my phone what should I do? My firmware is the latest R8A.
