can I do that? I mean every time I want to lock it I have to slide it up and down which is inconvenient!!

There was also a thread about it on the C905... And yes you have to, at the moment...

this is just a hunch i don't know much about the phone. But does it have a seperate power button? eg like at the top of the phone.
If it does just press the power button once and you should be able to switch profiles, activate keylock and silent etc etc and select using your d-pad while the phone is still closed

Newer SE slider phones don't have a separate power button. The only option I see for doing this will be enable automatic keypad lock in settings menu ...
