Hi

Other than setting the X1 to lock itself after a set time, does anyone know of any apps (or on the X1) to password lock the phone, by simply clicking a single button?

Thanks

here you go mate -> http://www.ac-s2.com/ (click on s2u2 on the right)
Its an awesome freeware, and there is a whole list of settings [that even I am still trying to figure out :S] that you can play around with

Have fun

Thanks, but I was looking for one which locked the phone, so you had to enter your password, rather than just locking the screen

Does anyone know if they is an app (or setting) to do this?

Thanks

I think there is an option in the settings to do that, you dont need an app, should be in 'security' or 'locks' in your settings

There is a setting to do this by setting a time delay, however I would like to do this by clicking a button / shortcut. So I press it, and it locks it. When I need to use the phone again, i need to enter a password.

I would have thought that something would exists, but like a few things, perhaps I shall have to wait for it to be created (?)

the good thing about windows mobile is there are so many applications out there, you can never get bored. Search and you shall find my friend . . . [try searching for 'ppc auto lock' in google]
