> P1 and university wifi

I'm having issues connecting my P1 to my university's wifi connection. The connection requires not only a wep key, but also a username and password in order for it to grant access to the internet. On a laptop computer for example, you connect to the network, then you open a browser and put in your username and password to log in, and then you can surf the web.
The problem is that when i attempt to connect to the network using the P1, i can only put in the wep key, and not my username and password. As a result, it always says that the connection failed, presumably because it has not been granted access to the internet. I must point out that it connects just fine to my home wifi network, which also requires a wep key.
So really I'm asking if there's a way or a special wifi management program that can let me log on to this type of network. I suppose that a program that would let me access a wireless network that lacks internet access could also do the trick. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi
from my experience i could say that the encryptation is higher than your phone can support. starting that you said you need an username and password, that's probably a domain. cant tell more.
