Hi, this is the latest stop on my www tour to figure out how to sync the data between my laptop and the P1i I bought some 6 months ago. And which has given me nothing but heartache ever since. The sync worked fine initially but after the third time I kept getting a message saying "m-router not connected".
I uninstalled and then reinstalled the SE PC Suite for Smartphones CD that came with the phone three times but no dice. I eventually managed to load songs and videos through a utility called Disc2Phone. But I can't load the contacts backed up on the laptop on to the mobile.
At the moment I've copied and loaded the contacts in an Excel spreadsheet. But I have to open and search for numbers every time I need to make a call. And it's a real pain.
I'm not very tech savvy (could have fooled you, huh?) but I've tried everything that I've come across but just can't seems to make the synchronisation work.
I'd be exceedingly grateful if someone could please explain what this whole m-router thing is and how I can get the blessed mobile and laptop to talk to each other again.
