Hmm, I tried to install this mobile phone monitor a couple of times,...and it never reconized the phone ??
In the mobile phone monitor settings it says nothing,..NO phones, and so on.
I tried to push the Troubleshooting button,.. nothing happened ???
I have tried to enable all the comports,..only the ones for IR (com4),
nothing happens ????
I'm using the package-5 (modems and mobilephone monitor)
Any ideas ??????

I was dealing with that software for about 3 days.
Then I decided to uninstall everything, do a reboot, and then Re install the Software again, once you finish the Reinstallation before trying to look for the T68 do a reboot again.
then you could try to search a phone with the software, and you should enable your phone to do Pairing.
This worked with me.

Thanks,..I'll try to uninstall it, and then reinstall, and turn on IR.
It shouldnt really matter if you use a T-65 or a T-68 package, should it ?
I use the package 5 from T-65,..only consists of drivers and mobilephonemonitor.

What are you using the IR with? On my laptop i just turn the ir on on the phone then all i have to do is point it at the ir port on my laptop. Then on the taskbar a box poped up and said T68 in range, and gave me the option to send files to it. That was with just Windows XP Pro installed. But it wouldn't accept file transfers until i put on network monitor.

I remember that you need to activate a COM-port somewhere in Control Panel > Mobile Phone Monitor... I activated a COM-port which was configured to use my Bluetooth-card. Default, this COM=port was de-activated. Sorry that I cannot provide more details (I'm not behind my normal PC).

When I try to open phone monitor, it will not reconize my phone,..thats the problem.
I cant see my phone in those settings.
MMS > Yep,..I did try to activate/deactivate different coms,..it made no difference,..the phone wasnt found in phone monitor.

No problem with the package. I use the one for T65 too.
The only thing I can't do is Configure my phone. For some reason it Shuts Down when I try to configure anything.

Mine doesnt,..and when I try to push the button called "trouble-shooting", nothing happens.
Guess I better try to reinstall the monitor again.

I tried in vain to get the Phone Monitor to work. I have Package 1(MPM & XTND for Ericsson) and try as I might no go.
I was on win 95, then upgraded to Win 98 to see if it works but no. I get nothing at all even if it's connected with IR. I can't get Outlook to sync with it.
I was just trying to send the background image to it!! That's all. Ended up staying late till 3am+. In the end, The dumped the software when I found out that there's an option to 'Send Via IR' in Windows menu.
Slept better with my new Background but still would like to sync.
Any help?
