> How to Edit SMS sender number?

A guy told my gf i have sent a sms to him that saying about my gf bad thing. I didn't do that.
And gf doubt on me....
She wants to see the sms.
So i fetch her to meet that fellow.
Who knows, On his phone...really appears my number on that.
How could it be???
Now I quarrel with my gf... :'(
So i just wana know...how come my number will appeared on that guy phone?
(he knows my number)
(He's using SonyEricsson K series K800i)
Anyone could advise on this issue please? How to edit a sender number to stored sms...

Maybe he sent by a tach of calendar.this manner cnt show the number just the mesag.so u cant know number

When open the sms,call sender, the call was come to my phone...means it really from my number...not image...
I wonder why?

It's easier than you may imagine the inbox folder on any phone is just a folder where you can add messages as you add files. So maybe the message wasn't sent at all but created and added to the inbox folder this is totally possible and rational

but i know how it is done.
some websites that allow for free txt msging allow for u to change the caller id. I think that must be how.
An example would be
www.smsglobal.com.au

Do you have the bluetooth turned on and visible all time? I know an app that allows its users to connect to your phone and so giving him control over your phone. I'm don't believe it would work staright but only if his phone is paired to yours.
Now I believe a friend of yours made that bad joke to you.
