> W910i wont turn on - Faulty battery or dead?

Hi my brother gave me his W910i to try and fix it.When he had it he said it got really hot at the back and then smelt burning, is this the battery or is the whole phone damaged? Im going to try and use another battery to see if it is the battery? Although it doesnt charge when i connect charger, it does come up with the little red light if i charge through USB but again doesnt turn on. Any ideas anyone? If not i could sell it as spares.

Try a different battery first, then if not either sent it away for repair or sell it for spares.
