> Music on Mono Bluetooth Headset SE K850i
Bookmark topic
Hello,
I recently purchased a mono bluetooth headset (SE HBH-PV703). I am also using a SE K850i. I was wondering if it is possible to listen to music through this headset, and if so how?
Thank You,
Sunny

The K850 supports A2DP so it's possible to listen to music IF your headset supports too... You can check by connecting the headset with the phone in the Bluetooth Headset option under Bluetooth menu in settongs/connectivity. Actually not all bluetooth headsets support listening to music, but you can give it a go.

No luck. My bluetooth headset is connected to my phone, but whenever I play music it plays from my phone. Perhaps you're correct and my headset does not support music.

I have a HBH-PV705 and it definately doesn't support music. The headsets use the 'Headset Profile' defined by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) and that supports calling only. Only Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) supports music streaming via BT as far as I know.
