Sony Ericsson have announced a new firmware update for mid February and it's suspected that the update will give the C905:

- smile shutter
- Chat view messaging
- Wayfinder 8
- you tube client
- Built in snapfish from HP

This will make the C905 much better in my eyes and they are hopefully going to fix a few bugs, not sure what they are though.

I don't know what this russian update is, but the only known versions are the R1BA034, R1BA038, R1BA042. I'm in western europe, but this firmware numbers are the same everywhere on the globe. I tried to Update my phone via SEUS and through the phone, according to the programms and the phones i had the R1BA034. No newer one available. But i found some pages where the R1BA042MAIN and FS are and updated it already, haven't seen much different things,seems like it starts much faster. If you want to lose your warranty you can update your phone with the mains and fs found in net via a2uploader (you lose warranty if you do anything with the firmware:).
