Hi everyone, I have been on T-Mobile PAYG for many years now and its become quite expensive and the service is quite poor. I'm thinking of moving to Three which is the cheapest tariff in the UK but is the service and reception good?

T-Mobile is 20p per min while Three is 12p per min. I don't want to change if Three are a shoddy service provider. Any comments about all tariffs would be much appreciated. I need cheap calls on all networks and good reception.

Thanks for your time.

What about ASDA?

8p to any network anytime, 4p per text, 20p per MB data and 20p for international calls (irrespective if its mobile or landline) to most countries!

No catches etc.

Oh, and Vodafone provide the roaming for ASDA's virtual network.
Generally, Vodafone's coverage takes some beating too.

Tesco mobile is good. To other networks its 20p but you get half price calls and texts to 5 fave numbers on any network. 10p calls and 5p texts plus free credit when you top up. Plus they use O2 network which will give you decent coverage.

I'm with O2, Coverage is good and no call drops ever. Price is not too bad either. I get 300 Messages a month if I top up a tenner, and more if I top up more. I also get rewards, the more I top up the more I get back. So yeah, I'd go with O2.

There are actually some really good deals out there if you look around. The operators own websites are probably the best places too look although that Asda deal does look good.

When I find one I'll post.

I've been with vodafone , t-mobile and 02 now with 3UK, T-mobile has the best receiption and is the most realable, 02 being the worst i hate 02, i only joined 3UK because they have the best dataplan £5 a month with fair usage of 3gig calls are reasonabley priced aswell, but texts are a shocking 12p each it doesn't matter as they offer loads of add-ons which bring the prices write down, i am only with 3 UK because they offer the best dataplan otherwise i'd be with t-mobile so stick with t-mobile if you don't need a really good data plan, The receiption on 3 UK is ok i have a 3g signal most the time but it's not a full strengh signal also i've seen a hspda signal yet, with t-mobile it's a full strengh hspda signal nearly all the time.

Looks like Asda does take some beating on price, and if they do use Vodafone, your coverage will be great.
