I just needed a quick answer.

Just picked up a bluespoon panther edition. I have emailed the person I bought it from but haven't got a response yet. Just wanted to know that if my Bluespoon has a sufficient charge, and I put it in the Cradle, is the Red Light supposed to light up anyway?

Mine doesn't seem to light up at all. Does that mean that it still has a full charge? And maybe if the charge is half spent or more, then the Red Light will light up?

I have made sure that the unit is properly seated in the cradle and that the adapter is plugged into a live outlet.

A quick reply just to confirm this would be greatly appreciated

Hi!
As said, the light goes on if the spoon is not fully charged, however, if you just have it out of the cradle switched on, the light will turn on immediatly and complete the charging (if only for a few secs) then the light turns off again when it's fully charged.

I would just contact Nextlink.to I did via email and they responded right away actually to test the bluespoon they called me from denmark and were very helpful. I had a response within couple of hours of e-mailing them just remember they are in Denmark thus time difference if you are in the US.

These are the e-mails I have for them Jon is one of their names his e-mail is j@nextlink.to

Good Luck

Regarding the lights - did you get a manual with your BlueSpoon???

The BlueSpoon only flashes red when you are low on power (it replaces the blue light). Also red and blue flashes together when you switch off and they also flash intermittently when in discover mode.

I just received mine, managed to pair off with my P800 but unfortunately it doesn't work! There are no audible sounds, beeps, etc. Battery is fully charged but I couldn't activate or receive calls from it, the volume increase and decrease doesn't seem to work.I'm not impressed at all especially with so much hype and the price I paid.

Bad luck! If it lights up when you press it and your phone has Bluetooth switched to ON (not Automatic) and it still doesn't do anything as you have already paired the devices. Return it, it must be faulty.

If you haven't done the above then you probably didn't read the manual. If you did read it then you should know that the volume control won't work unless you are in a call, and there are no audiable beeps unless the Bluetooth connction is working properly anyway.

Mine works fine.

RAMLEE > I believe you wrote me at Nextlink today,..I replied to you this afternoon I use the P800...and it works great with Bluespoon.

COPHIA > Correct,..Bluespoon does have quite a lot of sounds for different modes,..e.g. volume max/minimum....and they all work

The Manual-thing seems to be a problem, as a lot of people do not read it properly,..at least not until something goes wrong.
Thats why we in the future will put a small FAQ and Tips in the box,..and people are supposed to follow it...hehe,..I hope
This text will also be on the website....for those who already bought it.

When the BLuespoon is delivered,..it is, turned completely OFF, meaning theres no connection/power.
Thats why the user HAS TO put the Bluespoon in the cradle, BEFORE trying to pair it/turn it on.

The red light on the cradle : This is very normal,..for example if you have just charged a mobile phone,..then remove it from charger, and then put it back in charger,..it will also say "charging",...so no mystery here
You will always be able to "charge again" for a short while

Regards

Jan

Jan, I assure you I am a manual freak. Anything that I buy, the manual is the first I make sure I go through thoroughly. I have done all that you suggested in the mail - even tired pairing in different places to make sure no interference but that doesn't help. I am certain now the unit is faulty.

One more question - this is supposed to work anywhere in the world right? I mean, is there a compatibility issue (I don't tink so since BT is a standard)?
